NJME/CFSA has two scholarship programs.

HS Scholarship Announcement – has been renamed in honor of the initiator of the award.  Betty McConnell – Patient, Advocate and NJME/CFSA Board Member.  

The Betty McConnell HS Scholarship is open to NJ high school students or recent graduates who have been diagnosed with ME/CFS who will be attending a college (2 or 4 year program) or an accredited trade school. This year it is also open to students with Long COVID.

The “Medical” Scholarship has been renamed in honor of one of the initiators of the program. Dr. Rosemary Underhill was  a physician, patient, NJME/CFSA Board member and researcher of ME/CFS for many years. 

The Dr. Rosemary Underhill Scholarship is open to medical students, nurse practitioner, physician’s assistant students, and medical residents who are reside in NJ or are associated with a medical program in NJ.
